Job Description:
This is a Great Opportunity to become a leader in a great company and a growing Sector: of Compass Group, Canteen Vending Services. We are seeking a growth minded District General Manager to manage District vending or food operations. As the District General Manager you will have operational and fiscal responsibility for the growth of our business.
Responsibilities:
Ensure that the district financial performance meets Company and client objectives.
Optimize operational productivity and monitor development of realistic and accurate forecasts.
Interpret and ensure compliance with policies, procedures and guidelines to promote their consistent application within the district.
Ensure adherence to company sponsored retailing and purchasing programs.
Identify clients needs; communicate account progress and new Company programs to client.
Participate in the sales process and approve new business proformas.
Conduct client negotiations and/or renegotiates contracts.
Identify regional and district training requirements.
Develop and coach management associates to meet staffing needs, talent management program and to ensure optimum utilization of regional and district associates.
Coordinate union contract negotiations; stay current and abide by all parts of collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree and a minimum of three years related experience.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial data.
Excellent presentations skills required.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
