Maintenance Helpers and Utility Engineers work to ensure the general maintenance and repair of IHR properties. Requirements include: knowledge of maintenance trades, basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry; basic mechanical aptitude for operation and repair of hotel equipment and related tools; basic English language communication and math skills; moving heavy equipment; and working at heights up to 30 feet.

The position is full:time, shift varies and must be flexible. Must be able to speak, read, write and comprehend English. Responsible for ensuring the property is maintained at the best possible condition at all times with the least amount of inconvenience to the guest and employees. Must have 3:5 years hotel experience, be able to remain positive and handle emergency situations on their own. Must have a Guest oriented and can do attitude. Basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC experience required.
