Job Description General Summary Verde is looking for a highly-motivated individual to fill a newly created Real Estate Analyst position that will be responsible for supporting the analytics and financial reporting related to our existing industrial portfolio. This individual will help bolster our current portfolio analysis and may assist our acquisitions teams in evaluating new deals. Job Responsibilities: Prepare property and portfolio level Excel and Argus based models Prepare portfolio financial metrics, cash flows, and valuations for forecasting process Responsible for maintaining library of Argus files for existing portfolio with updated tenant / lease information Input assumption updates for existing portfolio in Argus Compile materials for monthly updates to senior management about prospective leases, terminations, and other relevant portfolio activity with market officers For all US Markets, will assist market officers by providing lease analysis and financial analysis related to deal structuring For all US Markets, will perform capital tracking activities comparing actuals to budgeted expenses for all TI s; will assist Senior Associate with forecasting activities related to his/her markets Qualifications: Requires a business degree in business, economics, real estate, or a related field; Requires 0-3 years of experience in an analytical, financial analysis role, commercial/industrial real estate experience preferred Required Skills: Understanding of commercial real estate and commercial real estate terminology Understanding of the industrial sector and the different investment characteristics Working knowledge of underwriting and valuation models Ability to understand and analyze individual property and portfolio level financial information with a knowledge of industry thresholds and ratios Proficiency in Excel with demonstrated modeling skills Proficient in Argus (company has recently transitioned to Argus Enterprise) Proficient in Costar, PPR, and other third-party real estate data sources Must be a self-starter and highly motivated with a strong work ethic and professional confidence Must be accountable for work goals and objectives Excellent oral and written communication skills, highly developed interpersonal skills Ability to think creatively and analytically and work independently and collaboratively Must be well organized and able to multi-task with limited supervision while adhering to deadlines and maintaining accuracy Required experience: 2 - 5 years Minimum required education: Bachelor's Degree Job category: Accounting, Insurance & Finance;Production & Operations;Real Estate
