Scope is Global and includes all Real Time Systems applications in Downstream. Applications portfolio includes: OMPRO (set of 6 Honeywell alarm management applications), PI which Business Critical, & MDPRO all of which are installed in 30 Downstream locations. Accountabilities: ?XConception, design, implementation, and operation of Real Time global application support for Downstream with focus on the business intimate hybrid support increasing end user productivity. ?XMaintain effective Business, Business Interface, and Portfolio Management engagement to identify needs and opportunities. ?XCoordinate with the PI Center of Excellence, Local Real Time resources in the Manufacturing Supply & Distribution organization, and Real Time resources in Technical Landscape Services (TLS = infrastructure support) ?XPartner with the Product Teams (who build/release the software) in Engineering Smart organization V, and TLS to deliver end to end support. ?XCoordinate with Manufacturing IT Project organization in Downstream to ensure quick & effective deployment of new releases. Dimensions: ?X12 Direct reports plus 6 contractors. ?XAnnual budget of approx. $4 Million. ?XKey systems for Manufacturing therefore close coordination required. ?XEssential data for Business Critical systems in Downstream therefore a focus on Business Continuity. ?XDefine global model and standards for Real Time Global support across the client s organization, including both Downstream and Upstream ?XDefine standard roll out methodologies for Real Time applications. Experience and Qualifications required: ?XBroad IT management experience with an emphasis on planning and management of IT applications support. ?XUniversity degree or similar professional qualification. ?XStrong Leadership & change management capabilities to develop and share a vision of the future and transform activities to new product development models. ?XStrong relationship management and communication skills. Team player, works effectively with all levels in organization (business & IT). ?XProven record of managing global virtual teams and managing diverse stakeholders in a global cross cultural environment. ?XExperience in managing external service providers at all levels. ?XTrack record of cost management and achievement of efficiencies year over year. ?XPre: Knowledge of Downstream Manufacturing processes and role of real time systems. ?XITIL certified and proven experience running an ITIL compliant support team is a pre. Work Experience : ?XAt least 10 years experience in working in either the Discipline or IT. Within Technical and Competitive IT (TaCIT), the Engineering and Smart Delivery Vertical has the mandate to create, deploy, support, enhance, and maintain the client s project engineering, process engineering, asset maintenance, real time control and optimization, and supply chain optimization systems used in Upstream, Downstream, and Midstream (gas). Focus is on proprietary, differentiating technologies in the form of user friendly, commercial grade software. Critical to the success of the organization is a hybrid mix of staff with deep skills in both IT and technical domains such as, process modeling, optimization, process control, field surveillance, asset maintenance and integrity, and plant operations.
