The hourly rate for this positon ranges from 10:14 per hour based on previous experience in this industry. We offer a monthly bonus incentives based on new leases, customer retention and job proficency. This can range from 60 to well over a xxxx per month. After 6 months of employment we offer you a highly discounted rate at one of our proporties if you have interest. We love to promote from within so with hard work and success comes promotions. All but two of our 11 proporties are in SW Houston. Our Leasing Consultants are tasked with effectively marketing the property and maintaining high occupancy of quality residents. They are the first impression of the property and must present a level of professionalism and exhibit our Core Values: Teamwork, Excellence, Attitude, Caring and Honesty. Leasing Consultants guide potential residents through the move:in process by handling phone calls, conducting property tours, working with the potential resident to complete the application, and getting the file approved by the appropriate person in the office. The Leasing Consultant is responsible for ensuring potential and current residents receive the highest level of customer service. Essential Duties:Manages all aspects of the leasing process, including, but not limited to, incoming traffic, qualifying prospects, leasing apartments, preparing lease paperwork and completing move:in paperwork. Must complete guest cards and enter traffic daily.Responds to phone and email inquiries including but not limited to providing leasing information, making appointments, creating and following up with maintenance requests, and handling or escalating resident complaints.Greets prospects, assess needs, tours apartments, collect deposits, rent payments. Process applications, prepares and reviews lease agreements/renewals, and answer all questions related to the community.Maintains courteous communications and follow:up correspondence with residents, applicants, prospects and representatives of other companies.Shops competitive propertiespletes all marketing/advertising activities at the direction of the property manager. Reviews social media websites and ensures online reputation management.Assists with resident retention with renewal program and community building events. Required Skills:Superior customer service skills including the ability to manage difficult customers and/or situations.Professional verbal and written communication skills.Strong ability to close a sale.Strong attention to detail, organizational, time:management and problem solving skills.Detail oriented; ability to manage conflicting priorities and to adjust priorities on a daily basis.Knowledge of Microsoft Suite. Required ExperienceMinimum of one year experience in a customer service, sales or retail position.Previous leasing experience is preferred.Experience using OneSite or other related property management accounting software is preferred.Experience with tax credit properties is a plus
