In this role, you will garner an in depth understanding of inventory, assess values through searches and creative primary research, conduct statistical analyses, then advise the team who can take proactive action based on your analyses. We're growing rapidly and Texas is our next target market. This key member of the acquisitions platform will help to identify, track and close properties that are accretive to the Houston portfolio. Familiarity with local geography is important, and a passion for real estate is a must. This person will support a team of Acquisitions Associates and others in the pursuit of single, portfolio and auction properties. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to those shown below. This is a high growth environment and the successful candidate could have a path of rapid growth in the organization. The Acquisitions Analyst will: * Targetsearches in MLS * Assistwith the preparation of written offers * ProvideTransaction support * Preparerental comp grids and maps * Organizeinput from associates into supporting grids and maps * Assistwith the setup and updating of a comprehensive comparable database * Monitors outstanding offers * Attendconstruction inspections as needed * Administerutility services * Providetax record research * Ensurecomplete records in the acquisitions database Qualifications: * Ability to multi-task, * Be detail oriented * Think critically and understand all aspects of our company's acquisitions platform * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Comfort and reliable with basic math skills. Aptitude with computers and internet * A high school diploma is required, a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
